Kendu retail is a leader in the international retail market. They offer comprehensive, 360º services to many of the most outstanding firms and stores worldwide.

01.Conveying the experience of a leading company.

In our first conceptualization meetings we defined, along with the client, the main points we wanted to convey through the website: Internationalization, Kendu has a presence in several countries and its work reaches more than 2,000 cities in over 100 countries around the world. Design & Creativity, creative solutions, along with a high-level creative and visual implementation are company hallmarks. Innovation & Technology, in all project spheres, the company aims at always going one step ahead.

Our challenges: creating a website for 6 countries, with a straightforward, comprehensive structure reflecting the company’s international reach, showing the complexity and power of its projects as well as its innovative and technological side.

02.Creating the experience: navigation structure.

In all our projects, we are dedicated to this approach: users should have a great navigation experience in every possible way. In this case, moreover, the website user is a multitarget audience which can approach the company from different, very defined angles or needs. Therefore, the initial stages of the project will focus on creating a straightforward, logic, easy-to-use website structure for a multitarget audience, seeking to show in detail the products and services that the company offers its users, while at the same time allowing for a quick location of the products or services they identify with.

03.Animations & microinteractions: the difference is in the details

From the beginning, we knew what we wanted to achieve with this website: to generate a mixture of satisfaction and interest in users that entices them to keep navigating. We wanted a website in which even the smallest of details, apparently insignificant, are designed and conceived looking for satisfaction in the experience. Naturally, multiple factors need to be taken into account to achieve this; among these, we focused on the design and prototyping of the website animations and interactions. We didn’t seek to make them especially stunning or ground-breaking; we wanted them to fit the website concept as a whole, in perfect balance with the contents, structure and features.

We tried to fulfill the experience, reinforcing the company values: Innovation, quality and a vocation to serve. We designed, prototyped, and finally tested the website animations and interactions, polishing them one at a time until we hit the right spot, which we were looking for: Innovation & Balance.
